Belleayre Plans for the 2012-2013 Ski Season!

With summer days dwindling in number and fall at our doorstep, there are many of you out there starting to think of winter and what Belleayre has in store for you. The process of moving from the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to the New York Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) is not as easy as some might think. And, as I have read and as I have heard, there are some that are nervous about what is in store for them as pass holders. I would like to put your minds
at ease.

ISKINY EXPO September 17-19 with NSAA Fall Education Seminars

ISKINY EXPO will be hosting the NSAA Fall Education Series Workshops at Hope Lake Lodge @Greek Peak Mountain Resort. You can find seminar details including our own seminars and info about the trade show at www.iskinyexpo.com.

Donald Westwoods' Belleayre Festival Opera

Join the music festival audience and be trans- ported to 19th-century Paris via the world's favorite Puccini opera, performed by a company of 50 singers and musicians, including members of Richard Tucker's Community Chorale of the Catskills.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE...At Gore Mountain

NORTH CREEK - Gore Mountain has introduced "Friday Night Live," a musical entertainment series available free to public every Friday from 4-7pm through August 31. Live acts include Decadence both July 27 and August 24, Northern Water Snake August 3, Stone Revival Band August 10, Mitch Fraiser August 17, and The Dependents August 31. More dates may be added in September if area residents and guests are excited about the series.

ORDA Events Next Week

It certainly has been beautiful here in the Adirondacks, with many locals and visitors taking advantage of our outdoor activities. A useful tool for those heading out to the trails or planning to spend some time in the outdoors, is the DEC Adirondack Trail Information site where they can find a lot of valuable information for a fun and safe outing!
