Bristol Mountain Welcomes Skiers and Snowboarders to Its Opening Day, Marking the 60th Season of Winter Fun
Canandaigua, NY — December 7, 2024 — Bristol Mountain is pleased to announce the commencement of its 60th season this Saturday, December 7th. The mountain will operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM this weekend and Monday through Thursday next week. Future operating hours for the next Friday and weekend will be announced later in the week.
Dan Fuller, General Manager at Bristol Mountain, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to embark on our 60th season and welcome back our guests. Our entire team is eager to deliver an exceptional winter sports experience this winter. It was incredible to see everyone back on the slopes!"
The Comet Express Chairlift will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing access to four open runs: Halley's Run, Sunbelt, Eclipse, and Lower Infinity. Snowmaking operations will continue as weather conditions permit, with the aim of expanding terrain over the coming weeks.
First chair honors were claimed by dedicated skiers Neo Gogg, Will Coine, Tyler Hopfinger, and Danny Caine, who arrived at 5:00 AM to secure the bragging rights for this season.
