Hello skiers and riders, it's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and just about all the ski areas are open. Some have received fresh snow and expecting more this week, so there will be fresh powder to play in. Also, it will be chilly, so do dress for the weather and take frequent hot cocoa breaks in the lodge between runs. be a nice day of skiing and riding. Here's today's report. In Belleayre Mountain, they got 55 trails, 7 lifts open until 4. Catamount with a half a foot of new snow, 29 trails, 7 lifts are open until 4 and tubing is open until 8pm on 5 lanes. Holiday Mountain got 6 inches of new snow, 6 trails and 2 lifts will be open from 9 to 5 with tubing open until 2. Hunter Mountain with 60 trails, 12 trails and 2 lifts will be open until 5. 12 lifts are open till 4 with 2 being open on 6 lanes. Mt. Peter with 6 inches of new snow, 11 trails, and 6 lifts are open till 6pm, and at plattekill Mountain, 3 inches of new snow, 21 trails, they're open to 4:15, and they got 2 being open as well. At Thunder Ridge, they got some new snow too. They got 18 trails and 6 lifts open till 9pm. at Windham Mountain they got 3 inches of new snow, 35 trails, 9 lifts open till 4 and tubing is open too. Taking a look up in the Adirondack and North Country region, we got Dry Hills Ski Area open today with 7 trails, 2 lifts until 6 and tubing open at noon. At Gore Mountain, 57 trails, 10 lifts are open till 4, 2K at Cross Country is open until 6pm as well. At Lapland Lake, Cross Country skis center, 2 inches of new snow, 42K a trail open until 430, Macaulay Mountain with 5 inches of new snow, 15 trails, 3 lifts open until 410 with 15K across country, Maple Ski Ridge has an inch of new snow, 7 trails and 4 lifts are open until 4pm and they have Nordic Nights from 4 to 7pm with 1K a trail, Mount Van Hovenburg has 50K a trail open until 430. 4. Mt. Pisgah with a slope and a lift open to 4. Oak Mountain's got 10 trails, 3 lifts, they're open until 4, and they do have tubing open as well. At Royal Mountain, 17 trails, 4 lifts are open until 4. Titus with 2 inches of new snow, all 53 trails and 7 lifts are open until 4. 30 with tubing open until 4. West Mountain with 3 inches of new snow, 28 trails and 4 lifts are open until 4. until 9 p.m. with tubing open on 9 lanes until 6. At Whiteface Mountain, they got 68 trails, 12 lifts open until 4 p.m, and Willard Mountain with 9 trails and 5 lifts are open from 9 to 5. They got tubing open, too, on 3 lanes. In the Central Finger Lakes region, we got Camillus Ski Hill planning to open Monday. Check their website for updates. They plan to be open from noon to 4 for skiing. and tubing Cazenovia Ski Club is open Monday too with 15 trails and two lifts from 11 to 4. Four seasons with an inch of new snow they're open with six trails two lifts open to five with tubing open on five lanes and 1k across country Greek Peak Mountain Resorts got an inch of new snow 54 day and 21 night trails eight lifts up until nine 6k across countries open to five and two means on 5 lanes until 4. At Labrador Mountain, 2 inches of new snow, 22 trails and 4 lifts are open until 4.30. Snow Ridge with 30 trails and 4 lifts are open until 4 with 2 being open on 2 lanes. Song Mountain with 2 inches of new snow, 20 trails and 4 lifts open until 4.30. At Skaneateles Ski Club, they plan to reopen on the 24th. Check their Facebook page for updates. Valley on 20 trails and five lifts with a 24 to 48 inch base are open until 4. Tubing's open from noon to 4 as well and they got live music with Mack Chaldon from 1 to 4 p.m. On the Western New York region, Buffalo Ski Center has got 2 inches of new snow, 24 trails open from 11 to 5. Bristol Mountain with an inch of new snow, 38 day and 36 night trails open till 9. 9 with 3k across country. Holiday Valley Resorts got 60 day and 40 night trails are open till 10 p.m. with 15k across country open during a day and tubing's open to 630 on 21 lanes. Holloman has 54 trails, 8 lifts open to 420 p.m. with 5k across country. Hunt Hollows got 16 trails, 2 lifts open till 4. Kissing Bridge with 33 trails are open till 9pm. At Peak and Peak Resort, 4 inches of new snow, 25 trails and 9 lifts are open till 10pm with tubing open on 6 lanes, and Swain with 24 day and 23 night trails, 4 lifts are open till 9pm.
