Hey skiers and riders it's saturday and it will be a great day and weekend of skiing and riding. Ski area snowmakers are hard at work making snow to add to the base and open more terrain. Alos there is some fresh snow too... Finish up that shopping and hit the slopes this weekend, here is today's report....
In the adirondacks and north country
Dry Hill Ski Area has around 4 trails open from 10am to 9pm, tubing is not open this weekend
At Gore Mountain they have 20 trails and 6 lifts open from 8:30 to 4 Nordic center has 2k of trails from 9 to 4
Lapland Lake Cross Country Ski Center is open from 9am to 4:30pm with 30k of trail
Maple Ski Ridge got 4 inches of new snow and they are open from 9am to 6pm with 4 trails and 2 lifts
McCauley Mountain plans to open on December 26
Mount Van Hoevenberg has 11k of trail open from 9am to 4pm,
Oak Mountain's has 3 trails with 2 lifts from 9 to 4 on a 12 to 18 inch base
Royal Mountain is open with 15 trails and 2 lifts from 9am to 4pm
Titus Mountain got 4 inches of new snow and has 10 trails and 3 lifts from 9am to 9pm. Tubing is open too from 11am to 9pm.
West Mountain received 2 inches of new snow and has 12 trails and 3 lifts 8:30am to 6pm also they tubing open on 8 lanes from 10am to 6pm
Whiteface Mountain has 40 trails open with 8 lifts on a 24 to 36 inch base are open till 4pm.
Willard Mountain received an inch of new snow and has 2 trails with a lift from 10am to 4pm
in the Catskills and Hudson Valley region.
Belleayre Mountain got an inch of new snow and they have 47 trails with 8 lifts open until 4 on 6 to 24 inch base.
Hunter mountain has 27 with 5 lifts open today on a 6 to 20 inch base from 8:30am to 4pm. Tubing is open too. They have live music with DJ Dan Leonard at 10am and a S'mores even saturday at 3pm
Plattekill Mountain got 2 inches of new snow and they have 4 trails with 2 lifts open from 8:45am to 4:15pm.
Windham Mountain Club will have 15 trails open with 3 lifts from 8am to 4pm. Tubing is open too
In the Hudson Valley Region
Catamount got an inch of new snow and has 19 trails with 4 lifts from 8:30 to 4. Also tubing is open too
Holiday Mountain will be opening soon,
Mount Peter has 5 trails and 2 lifts from 9 to 4 with tubing open
At thunder ridge they have 5 trails and 3 lifts from 9am to 9pm
In the central of New York region
at Cazenovia Ski Club they got an inch of new snow and they are making snow. They will have the rope tow going with a trail on a 12 to 30 inch base from 11am to 3pm. They plan to open additional trails too.
Four Seasons Ski Center is planning to start their season on December 23rd
Greek Peak Mountain Resort got 2 inches of new snow and has 14 trails with 5 lifts running from 9:30 to 4. Tubing is open at 11am. New Years Eve celebration coming up with torchlight parade
Labrador Mountain got 2 inches of new snow and they are open with 5 trails and a lift from 9am to 4:30pm
At Song Mountain they got 2 inches of new snow and they are open with 3 trails and 2 lifts from 9am to 4:30pm
Snow Ridge got 3 inches of new snow and they will have 2 trails and 2 lifts open from 9 to 4
Skaneateles Ski Club plans to open on the 26
Woods Valley got an inch of new snow and they have 6 trails with 3 lifts running on a 18 to 36 inch base from 9am to 8pm. They have live music with Plane Jane from 1 to 4pm. They plan to open tubing on december 26th
And over in Western New York
Buffalo Ski Center has 3 trails open from 9am to 4pm
Bristol Mountain has 12 trails and 4 lifts running on a 10 to 24 inch base from 8:30amam to 9pm 1k of cross country is open from 3pm to 8:30pm
Holiday Valley got 3 inches of new snow and will have 26 trails with 9 lifts open from 9am to 10pm. Tubing is open with 21 lanes from 10am to 9pm. Mountain coaster is open too. New Years eve party coming up details at holidayvalley.com
Holimont has 17 trails with 3 lifts open from 9:30 to 4:20pm
Hunt Hollow is open 3 trails and a lift from 8:30am to 4pm
Kissing Bridge got an inch of new snow and will have 8 trails with 2 lifts open from 9am to 10pm they got a mini terrain park at the bottom of holly
Peek 'n Peak Resort received an inch of new snow and will have 10 trails with 5 lifts open from 8:30am to 10pm on a 24 to 48 inch base. Tubing is open from from 10am to 10pm
Swain Resort re-opens with 3 inches of new snow and they have 8 trails with 2 lifts open from 9am to 4pm
