Belleayre Snowmaking

It’s Here!

Opening Day at Belleayre is Just Hours Away!

After 215 days of waiting, winter has finally come through—and Belleayre is ready to roll out it’s 75th season! We all did our snow dances, and Mother Nature delivered just what we needed: a blast of cold that gave our legendary snowmaking team the green light. The Belleayre Wizards of Snow got to work on Tuesday, turning those frosty temps into a mountain of fresh snow, and now it’s time to kick off the start of the 2024/25 season!

Get ready to hit the slopes as we officially open for skiing and riding this weekend, first to our season passholders on Friday, November 15 and then to everyone else starting on Saturday, November 16th! We’re stoked to offer 5 trails and The Hawk Quad to launch the season right.  At this time, we will only have expert terrain open.   Make sure to visit the Belleayre Snow Report for any updates.

Passholder Appreciation Day – Friday, November 15
We’re kicking off the season with a special Season Passholder Appreciation Day on Friday, November 15! For one day only, the mountain is for season passholders only—a day to make the first turns of the season with your Belleayre family. This is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty and passion for being a passholder!

Opening Day for All – Saturday, November 16
Then, on Saturday, November 16, we’re opening the mountain to everyone for pure mountain stoke! Bring your friends, family, and fellow snow lovers—let’s celebrate the season’s first weekend together. Lift tickets are available exclusively online purchase for $57.  Convenient ticket pickup boxes are located in the Hawk Parking Lot for easy access.

Weekend Details
Our snowmaking and grooming teams have been hard at work, and Upper & Lower Dot Nebel, Upper & Lower Seneca will be open and ready to deliver those fresh early-season turns. The Hawk Parking Lot will be our base camp for all the action this weekend. The Hawk Quad will be the only lift will be spinning - 10am to 4pm for passholders on Friday and 9am to 4pm Saturday & Sunday, giving you access to that fresh early-season terrain.

And we’ve got your taste buds covered too! Cousin Vinnie’s (your go-to from the Fall Festival) will be set up in Parking Area E (Hawk Parking Lot), serving up mouthwatering food and drinks to keep you fueled for a full day on the mountain.

Heads Up On Lodge Services
Exciting things are happening at the Discovery Lodge as we gear up with some fantastic new renovations! While construction continues at the base lodge, services will be limited to season pass and ticket sales only for the weekend. Restrooms will only be available at the Hawk Parking Area.  And, just a quick note—the Overlook Lodge will stay closed a little longer as we prepare it for the season ahead. Thank you for your patience as we work on our lodge renovations to make your Belleayre experience better than ever!

Gather your gear, rally your crew, and get ready to launch a new season of memories at Belleayre. We can’t wait to see you on the mountain!
