POW WOW!
The conditions are incredible out there! The snow just keeps coming and we are so grateful. Powder hounds are happy with this last dumping of snow, we received 7 more inches! This week looks a little chilly so dress in layers and come on out! This weekend the sun will be out to make the conditions just dreamy! This could be the weekend you take a lesson or try tubing. Plan ahead and book your lesson now. Just a reminder that tickets for tubing must be bought on line. It's going to be another amazing weekend and great week of skiing and riding here at Oak Mountain.
This Saturday don't miss our Lollipop Races for ages 3 - 12. They are a fun way for kids to work on fine tuning their turns and skills. Each week the kids win lollipops. Sign ups are in the ski school.
Join us on Saturday in the Acorn for some Aprés Ski to hear the music of The Insolent Willies are an upstate NY roots-rock band led by songwriters Bill Ackerbauer and Frank DeVer. Come by the Acorn for some great fun and great food after a great day of skiing and riding!

What's happening in the Acorn:
What could be better than a great day of skiing? Staying for Aprés ski! Joins us Saturday at The Acorn Pub & Eatery for some Aprés fun and enjoy the music of The Insolent Willies 2pm-5:00pm and again Sunday for Seth and Nash from 1pm - 4pm. Come and relax after a great day of skiing and riding with friends and family. There are numerous options for the hungry skier or rider.

Dress for Winter
Jackets should be warm, waterproof and wind resistant. Base layer clothing should be made of a moisture wicking material (no cotton) and able to accommodate changing weather conditions. Ski or Snowboard Socks are also HIGHLY recommended. Try to make sure your socks aren’t bundled up inside your boots, as this can be a distraction and uncomfortable. Waterproof, warm gloves are also necessary. On cold days, a neck gaiter or face mask will help protect and keep your face warmer. Hand and toe warmers are available for purchase inside the Rental Shop.
We recommend all skiers and snowboarders wear a helmet. If you do not own a helmet, you may rent one from the Rental Shop. Goggles or sunglasses are also recommended, if you don't have either they are available for purchase inside the Rental Shop.
Save the date for some fantastic upcoming events! Our lollipop races continue on Saturdays for kids 3-12. On March 1, we have our famed Card Board Sled Race. Make a racer out of cardboard, no metal on the bottom, and race it down the mountain, all ages welcome! On March 8, we will have our OMR Slalom Fun Race, for Intermediate skiers Ages 5+, No entry fee.*Limited to 50 sign ups.Our Pondskimming Retro Day is happening March 22. We are now booking weddings for the 2026! Oak Mountain is located in a place where everyone embraces the outdoors. It's setting is remarkable; with a combination of the Adirondack Mountains, gorgeous views and amazing lakes. If it's spring, summer, fall or winter that you choose to get married in, we have different venue choices to create the perfect setting for your special day.
