We are looking forward to a great holiday weekend. We currently have three lifts operating, servicing 10 trails. Mother nature keeps giving us a few inches here and there, which keeps adding to the base and making great corduroy. We expect a busy weekend so please sign up for lessons, buy tickets and reserve rentals ahead of time. Seth Owen Beck will be playing this Saturday at the Acorn from 2pm - 5pm and is sure to be a great time. The Acorn is always serving up delectable dishes and daily specials! ( see below for more information).

What could be better than a great day of skiing? Staying for Aprés ski! Joins us at The Acorn Pub & Eatery for some Aprés fun and enjoy the music of Seth Owen Becker. As singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the Americana band The Old Main and on his own accord, Seth Owen Becker draws influence from multiple eras of folk, rock, and blues music. So come and relax after a great day of skiing and riding with friends and family. There are numerous options for the hungry skier or rider. Check out the MENU! See you there!

Helmet Safety
 

Helmets can help mitigate head injuries on the slopes. Bonus: they also keep your head warm! While wearing a helmet is a personal choice, you would be setting a good example for the young ones in your family if you chose to wear one while skiing or riding.

Helmet Stats
  • Approximately 84% of skiers and snowboarders in the U.S. wear helmets
  • Nearly 100% of kids age 9 and under wear helmets. Many ski areas include helmets in a kids' rental package, and some may even require children to wear one in a lesson (for example, the state of New Jersey requires all kids under age 18 to wear a helmet while skiing or snowboarding).
  • A peer reviewed scientific study found that potentially serious head injuries in skiing decreased as helmet usage increased. Helmets have been found to reduce the severity of head injuries and almost completely prevent lacerations.
