So Much Snow!
The conditions are incredible out there! We have been blessed with 20" of new snow over this past week with more snow in the forecast. It's going to be another amazing weekend here at Oak Mountain.
This Saturday don't miss our Lollipop Races for ages 3 - 12. They are a fun way for kids to work on fine tuning their turns and skills. Each week the kids win lollipops. Sign ups are in the ski school.
Join us on Saturday in the Acorn for some Aprés Ski to hear the music of David Wong, he has been called a “Rock Star” in the violin world. With over 6.8 million YouTube views, he’s attracted the attention of people around the world with mentions in Time Magazine, Huffington Post, MSN, Good Morning America and features on YouTube’s Home Page. He has performed in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to Hotel Café and collaborated with artists such as The War and Treaty, Cory Wong, and Air Traffic Controller. David is an avid string clinician specializing in live looping, non-traditional techniques, and content creation. So come by the Acorn for some great fun and great food after a great day of skiing and riding!

What could be better than a great day of skiing? Staying for Aprés ski! Joins us Saturday at The Acorn Pub & Eatery for some Aprés fun and enjoy the music of David Wong 2-5pm. So come and relax after a great day of skiing and riding with friends and family. There are numerous options for the hungry skier or rider.

Did you learn to ski at Oak Mountain? Amelia Germain from Piseco learned to ski here when she was one year old. She’s been skiing at the mountain ever since. Save the date for some fantastic upcoming events! Presidents weekend we will have a Kids Dance Party w/ DJ2T & Night Skiing, adults are welcome. On March 1, we have our famed Card Board Sled Race. Make a racer out of cardboard, no metal on the bottom, and race it down the mountain, all ages welcome! On March 8, we will have our OMR Slalom Fun Race, for Intermediate skiers Ages 5+, No entry fee.*Limited to 50 sign ups. Lastly, our Pondskimming Retro Day is happening March 22.
