SKI NY Free for Kids Passport Program Enters 25th Season
Now Includes 5th Graders!
JAMESVILLE, NY (November 6, 2024) – SKI NY and our member ski resort continue to introduce more kids to skiing and snowboarding with its SKI NY Free for Kids Passport program which offers free skiing for kids in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade*.
This year marks the programs 25th season. Since the 1999-2000 ski season, the Passport Program has introduced thousands of kids to alpine winter sports. This year, the program is expanding to include 5th graders!
“This program makes skiing more affordable and introduces participants to 25 NYS ski areas “said Scott Brandi, President of SKI NY. “We have received so much feedback about expanding the program and are pleased to add the 5th grade to eligibility.”
The Ski & Ride Passport Programs is available all season long with a processing fee of *$45 per Passport, per child. Parents must apply online at iskiny.com and can ski the next day as the Passport is emailed to them once processed.
The Ski & Ride Passport Programs aims to grow the sport of skiing for future alpine skiers and riders. SKI NY is partners with the National Ski Areas Association working to bring more people into the sport. Find out more at iskiny.com.
