With some luck and a chill in the air, there's a snowy evening in store and snowmaking weather arrives soon. Flakes will fall, each unique pattern a new etch upon the earth, stacking (hopefully) high to deliver snowball, smile, or stoke. As it always is with fickle forecasts, we may wake with windshield frost and driveways to shovel and plow, or we will wipe morning from our eyes, once again gazing upon blades of grass as we brew coffee or pour tea. To have any snow at all is nature's great gamble. And so our team of on-the-ground wizards, armed with a fleet of snowmaking guns, stand poised, waiting for the green light, that temperature and humidity have aligned to deliver the right conditions for all systems go. Robert Frost may not have considered the snowmakers, but like him, we'll watch the woods fill up with snow all the same.
