Kids Passport Program - Program Rules 2024-25 Season

Program Rules for 2024-25

The 2024-20245 SKI NY Free For Kids Passport Program is a non-transferrable electronic “card” which entitles the 3rd , 4th or 5th grader to whom it is issued to obtain complimentary one-day lift, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, at participating New York State ski resorts (subject to change) during the 2024-2025 season. The area ski resorts participating in the 2024-2025 season (subject to change without notice) reserve the right to withdraw from the program at any time.

The Passport is valid at all participating resorts from 12/1/24 to 5/1/25 or if the area you wish to go is closed, whichever comes first, except for some areas during the following holiday period dates:

• Christmas Break: 12/26 - 1/1/25
• MLK Weekend: 1/18/25 - 1/20/25
• February Break: 2/15 - 2/23/25

The Passport is not to be honored on holiday period dates if specified in the participating ski area list. See listing for areas who will not accept it on the holiday period dates.

The Ski & Ride Passport may be used to obtain no more than two (2) complimentary one-day child lift tickets at each participating resort with an adult ticket purchase between 12/1/24 - 5/1/25, or if the area you wish to go is closed, whichever comes first

The lift tickets from the Ski & Ride Passport may not be transferred or resold to any other person, including family members or relatives. It is a violation of New York State Law to resell lift tickets. SANY or any area in the program will immediately revoke a Passport if the holder transfers use of the Passport or of any lift ticket obtained with the Passport to another person, for monetary consideration or otherwise.

The Ski & Ride Passport may be presented by the 3rd, 4th or 5th Grade holder to obtain a complimentary one-day lift ticket only when accompanied by a paying adult (as determined by member resort). A maximum of two(2) 3rd , 4th or 5th Grade Passport holders per adult redemption may obtain a complimentary one-day lift ticket using the Passport.

SKI NY or any ski area will revoke and cancel a Passport without notice for any misuses. Passport holders and their parent or legal guardian are responsible for proper use of the Passport at all times. In the event of Passport misuses and cancellation, SKI NY is not responsible for expenses incurred or opportunities foregone by Passport holders if SKI NY modifies or cancels the Passport program. SKI NY is also not fiscally responsible for denials of redemption in the program by the ski area.

If a Passport is lost or stolen, notify SKI NY immediately at passport@iskiny.com or by calling 315-696-6550. Participating resort lift ticket offices cannot assist with lost or stolen Passports. SKI NY reserves the right to make case determinations concerning replacement of lost or stolen Passports. In no event will a lost or stolen Passport be replaced without collecting a $45 processing fee.

Refund Policy:

There are no refunds — regardless of injury, weather or other factors including State closures, pandemics and no carryover credits.

All Passport holders agree to comply with all rules and regulations of participating SANY member resorts and with all other applicable laws and regulations, including the New York Skier Safety Code.

An individual is eligible for the SKI NY Free for Kids Passport only once for each 3rd , 4th or 5th Grades. Individuals repeating all or a portion of the 3rd, 4th or 5th Grade do not qualify for a repeat Passport unless they have progressed to the next grade (as in going from 3rd  to 4th or 4th to 5tjh grade). If a Free for Kids program applicant provides any false or inaccurate information in his or her application, a Passport will not be issued. Any Passport issued to a 3rd, 4th or 5th Grader who has provided false or inaccurate information will be revoked. Ski areas have the final decision on passport redemption.

All information provided in SKI NY Free for Kids Passport application is subject to verification by SKI NY. All information provided in the application becomes the property of SKI NY. Information provided by Free for Kids Passport applicants may be used by SANY and its member resorts for verification and for market research purposes.

Redemption of Passport

Ski areas will redeem a Ski & Ride Passport for a free lift ticket (up to 2 per participating ski area) when an adult purchase is made either on-site or online at the ski areas own online. 

Included are season pass purchases and discount cards issued by the ski area only except where noted. Discounted lift tickets purchased elsewhere that is not from the ski area are not valid for passport redemption. The SKI NY Gold Pass is valid for redemption as well. 

Free lift tickets or passes or vouchers or those from other professions are not valid for passport redemption.
